What degree are you currently pursuing and why? BS in mathematics, secondary education minor. I love math and I also love helping people, so I found a way to combine both of my passions and that is teaching. I plan to teach high school mathematics after I graduate, and I can’t wait!

How would you describe the Math Department to someone considering an undergraduate degree in Math? The math department has so many different paths that you may not realize are there. I work in the math department as a receptionist, so I see a lot of professors and students that work in many different fields. I totally recommend an undergraduate degree in math because it opens up so many doors for you! Come stop by and say hi!
