Tutoring Services

Math Learning Center

The Math Learning Center is located on the third floor of the Fretwell building (Fretwell 330). We offer free tutoring to any enrolled student regardless of major or academic standing. If you have math questions, we’d love to help you.

Tutoring for the Spring 2025 semester will be available from Thursday 1/16 – Wednesday 4/30.

In-person, drop-in tutoring is available from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Fridays.

University Center for Academic Excellence (UCAE)

The University Center for Academic Excellence offers both one-on-one (appointment only) tutoring and drop-in tutoring. The hours of its drop-in tutoring servic, courses covered and detailed information about the program at UCAE, click University Center for Academic Excellence (UCAE).

Private Tutoring

The department also maintains a list of private tutors, however, these private tutors are not regulated nor supervised by the math department. The math department does not assume any responsibility for what happens between a private tutor and a student.
