Olanrewaju T. Oriowo

Olanrewaju is a second-year student in the doctoral program. Her main research interest is the experiences of Black girls and women in mathematics and STEM. She is especially interested in drawing attention to the success, persistence, and resilience of Black girls and women in STEM majors and careers.

Allison Hanh Elowson

Allison is interested in researching best practices in the preparation of pre-service mathematics teachers. This includes a particular focus on foundational (or elementary) content knowledge necessary for effective teaching across the grade levels.

Jordan T. Register

Jordan is a proponent of Critical Mathematics and Culturally Sustaining pedagogies. Her research interests include secondary students’ ethical reasoning and the potential role of Data Science in K-12 mathematics education.
